Dazaifu Government Office Ruins

Dazaifu, also known as the "Dazaifu Government Office Ruins," served as the administrative center that governed Kyushu from the late 7th century to the late 12th century, and also played the role of the western capital. Geographically, it served as the front line of Japanese diplomacy and defense, and as a gateway to the Asian continent, so the government office was built in the center of Dazaifu as an important political center.The government office building has been lost, but the old architectural foundations remain, telling us that there was a fine building at that time, and the surrounding scenery retains traces of ancient times.
