Tosa Kuroshio Railway Gomen-Nahari Line Shimoyama Station

Shimoyama Station has its platform on the mountain side of Route 55, and a group of vinyl greenhouses spread out to the south. Oyama Cape, located west of the station, is a scenic spot overlooking the majestic Pacific Ocean. The station mascot "Shimoyama Chidori-chan" is based on the monument of Hirota Ryutaro's song "Hamachidori" that stands on the cape. Shimoyama Chidori-chan I'm based on the children's song "Hamachidori" composed by Hirota Ryutaro. There is a monument to the song on Oyama Cape near the station, so please come and see it. The beautiful horizon and sunset that can be seen from Cape Oyama are also a must-see.
