Okoshiki Seashore

A 5km stretch of calm coastline around Amida on the north side of the Uto Peninsula is a scenic spot that has been selected as one of the "100 Best Beaches in Japan" and "100 Best Sunsets in Japan." On a clear, sunny day, you can see the Shimabara Peninsula and Mount Unzen Fugen across the Ariake Sea.
