The 27th Sendai Michinoku Yosakoi Festival

The Sendai Michinoku YOSAKOI Festival is a large-scale YOSAKOI festival held every October in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. This year marks the 27th anniversary of the festival, and it is a very attractive festival that combines the traditional culture of the Tohoku region with modern, energetic dance. The 2024 Sendai Michinoku YOSAKOI Festival will be held over two days, Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th. The venues are divided into multiple locations in Sendai City, and various teams will perform at each venue. Participating teams come from all over the country, and the number can exceed 100.
