Special exhibition "Kingyo Bishou 2024 - Artists who paint goldfish"

The exhibition will feature approximately 150 works by 11 artists, including the supervising artist Ryusuke Fukahori, and new artists. You can enjoy the beauty of goldfish through the diverse works created by each artist using their own techniques and expressions. The special exhibition will also feature objects made using "goldfish lanterns", a folk craft from Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. There will also be a "Goldfish and Cherry Blossoms" corner with the theme of "cherry blossoms", which have long been loved by Japanese people. Visitors will be able to find their favorite goldfish from the many goldfish art pieces. Another attraction is the special exhibits "Goldfish Lanterns" and "Goldfish and Cherry Blossoms," where visitors can enjoy the fusion of traditional Japanese culture and contemporary art.
