Sanko Cosmos Festival 2024

Sanko Cosmos Festival 2024 will be held from Friday, October 18th to Thursday, October 31st in the rice fields of Sanko Taguchi and Narutsune in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture. The event will take place in Japan's largest cosmos garden, where 27 million cosmos flowers bloom in a vast 15.6 hectare field. The theme of this festival, which is celebrating its 18th anniversary this year, is "I am in the cosmos now." It aims to give visitors the experience of being in the cosmos. There is also a paid parking lot (300 yen) on the venue, making it easy to access. By car, it is about 3 minutes via Nakatsu Interchange on the Higashi Kyushu Expressway, and about 20 minutes by car from JR Nakatsu Station.
