Doryu Falls

The graceful Doryu Falls and a walking path that runs along the valley of the Kawamata River, which flows from the Yatsugatake Mountains. From the parking lot, follow the sound of the clear, flowing water and you'll arrive at Doryu Falls in about 15 minutes. Doryu Falls has a drop of 10 meters and a width of 15 meters. Unlike the violent image of a waterfall, it has the feel of a Japanese garden, with small waterfalls tumbling in multiple tiers creating a charming scene. The waterfall was given the name "Dragon's Spitting Waterfall" ("waterfall") due to the mysterious appearance of silk-like threads flowing down from between rocks covered in green.
