Marios Observatory

The Marios Observatory, a landmark of Morioka City, is a high-rise building representing the Tohoku region, boasting a height of 92 meters. The Malios Observation Deck, located on the top floor of the building, is easily accessible, about a 3-minute walk from the west exit of Morioka Station, making it an easy spot for tourists to visit. Admission to this observatory is free, and you can enjoy a great view of the entire Morioka city. On a clear day, you can see the Kitakami River and Shizukuishi River that flow through the town, as well as Mt. Iwate rising in the distance, creating a wonderful view of nature and the cityscape.
