Ohnoya was founded in 1838 when the first Daimonya Kichishiro switched from brewing to a confectionery shop. We have been running our confectionery shop in Takaoka's so-called "Yamamachisuji" area ever since. Our store stocks a wide variety of seasonal sweets, including our signature sweets "Tokonatsu" and "Tagoto," which are inspired by the poems of Manyo poet Otomo no Yakamochi.
