Itokawa Promenade

This is a promenade built along the Itokawa River in Ginza-cho, Atami City. Itokawa is a river that flows through the center of the city, and about 60 Atami cherry trees are planted along the 300 meter promenade along the river, and you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing from early January to mid-February. In early summer, bougainvillea flowers bloom profusely, and it is a place where you can be healed by the beautiful flowers tended by locals. Picture courtesy of © Atami City Official Website
