Kawazu River

Kawazu River is a river that flows through the Higashi Izu region of Shizuoka Prefecture. It is famous for the Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival, which is held along the river every spring. Kawazu cherry blossoms bloom earlier than Someiyoshino cherry trees and are characterized by deep pink flowers.
