Rendaiji Temple

Rendai-ji Temple on Mt. Yuga is dedicated to Yuga Daigongen, one of Japan's three great gongen, and prays to ward off misfortune and misfortune every day. It was founded by the Bodhisattva Gyoki about 1,300 years ago, and for about 300 years it has prospered as a prayer temple for Marquis Ikeda, the lord of the Bizen domain. In the guest hall, which has been designated as an important cultural property by the prefecture, you can see many paintings on sliding doors, including Okyo Maruyama's masterpiece ``Bamboo and Chicken Drawing''. In addition, the main shrine is home to Japan's largest Daifudo to ward off evil spirits.
