Umaji Forest Railway and Incline

There used to be a forest railway that transported timber, people, and supplies. After it was abandoned, it became a tourist facility where you can experience riding the Umaji Forest Railway, which has been restored to two-thirds the size of the original, and the water-powered cable car, the Incline. It is an experience that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, and after the experience you can take a day trip to Umaji Onsen, located right in front of the station, for a bath and a meal.
