Ibara City Cultural Properties Center “Ancient Mahoroba Museum”

In addition to organizing, researching, exhibiting, and storing buried cultural properties located within Ibara City, this is a base facility that utilizes cultural properties located within the city to deepen citizens' interest and understanding of cultural properties. In the exhibition room, three dotaku were excavated from the city, and a model of the restored dotaku and the ritual for burying the dotaku is on display at the entrance. In addition, we offer cultural property tours, lectures, hands-on courses, and other courses that allow you to get up close and personal with buried cultural properties.This is a learning facility that increases your interest in and deepens your understanding of cultural properties.
