Hakusan Cave

It is one of the largest granite caves in Japan, with a height of 16m and a width of 17m, and is designated as a natural monument of Kochi Prefecture. Over the years, the rough waves of the Pacific have pierced the rocks and created the caverns. It is also a popular spot because the shape of the hole looks like a heart. There is a course along the coastline, perfect for cycling! The size of the rock towering in front of you after going down the stairs and the power of the waves are overwhelming. You can also see the cave from above at the Manjiro Footbath located along the prefectural road.
