Utsue 48 waterfalls

There are 13 waterfalls scattered throughout the approximately 800 hectare prefectural natural park. The waterfalls that fall with a spray of water change their appearance with the seasons, making it a truly unexplored region. The particularly large Otaki Falls is 18.8 meters high and fascinates visitors. The distance to Kamihira Falls at the top of the waterfall is about 880 meters, and the round trip takes about 1 hour. The park is paved with stone pavement to make it easy to walk around, so you can casually stroll around. Along the walking path, there are large trees such as beech, oak, and walnut, and you can also see rare wild plants, making it a great place to enjoy nature observation.
