Koyasan Café Shizuku

The Koyasan Digital Museum was established in 2022 with the aim of revitalizing the Wakayama region. Located inside the museum is Koyasan Café Shizuku, which serves gourmet food made with plenty of ingredients from Koyasan. One of the popular menu items is Koyasan Shojin Curry (1,180 yen), which is made in accordance with the etiquette of shojin cuisine. Soy meat and plenty of vegetables are used instead of meat and onions, and it has a rich flavor with a spicy kick of Japanese pepper. Another popular item is the Koyasan Blend Drip Coffee (550 yen) produced by Sarutahiko Coffee. By deliberately not increasing the number of menu items and products, the aim is to create an opportunity for customers to travel around Koyasan and Wakayama Prefecture rather than just staying at the facility.
