Hakusan Shrine

One float is preserved within Hakusan Shrine. The entire float is finished in lacquer and gold leaf, and is a straw-covered float similar to the Nagoya-style float. It is the only one left on the Chita Peninsula, and is a valuable "lantern float." At night, the lanterns are lit up, creating a beautiful sight against the night sky. The float is estimated to have been built during the Tenpo era.
