Okada Spring Festival

It is a lively festival where three floats line up in front of the main gate and you can also enjoy the dancing of the wooden puppets. The annual festival is held in conjunction with the Spring Festival. The three floats are named "Sun float," "Ame-guruma," and "Kaze-guruma," and it is said that the name of the float that becomes the "first float" in the year roughly matches the weather on the day of the festival. The three floats are designated as cultural properties of Chita City. The "twisting" in which young people dynamically turn the floats is a sight to behold.
