Roadside Station Yamada Oista

Located near Yamada IC on the Sanriku Coastal Road, this roadside station relocated and reopened in July 2023. Its nickname "Oista" combines the words "oysters," a specialty of Yamada Town, and "come on over." The facility also houses a shop selling Yamada Town's specialty products, a restaurant where you can enjoy seafood such as oysters, and a tourist information center. There is also a large parking lot and a playground for children on the premises, making it the perfect place to take a break from driving around Sanriku.
