Taiko Tower

This three-story tower was built during the Edo period. On the top floor there is a large drum called the "Tsutsuji Taiko," which was struck to announce the time, warn of fires and floods, as a signal to go up to the castle, and when the feudal lord returned to his domain from Edo on his alternate attendance system.
