Sakurayama Park is a famous spot for winter cherry blossoms, designated as a national scenic spot and natural monument. In particular, in mid-November, you can see the winter cherry blossoms and autumn leaves competing with each other. This is the place where the "Sa" in the Jomo Karuta is "famous for its winter cherry blossoms along with the Sanbaishi stone." In addition to cherry blossoms, wintersweet, camellias, azaleas, and adonis flowers are planted in the park, so you can enjoy a variety of flowers and plants throughout the seasons. During the cherry blossom and autumn leaf season, you can buy souvenirs and enjoy meals at the shop next to the parking lot. Recently, a cafe for everyone, "Shiki," has opened in the park. It is a shared cafe with a concept of a place of relaxation for the local community, and opens on a daily basis. Parking Fee Table Parking fees are collected during the winter cherry blossom, autumn leaf, and spring cherry blossom seasons.
