Nakanojo Town is located in the northwest of Gunma Prefecture. The town is proud of its magnificent natural scenery, such as Lake Nozori, known as the "Lake in the Sky," and the Yoshigahira Wetlands, which are registered under the Ramsar Convention, as well as hot springs, such as Shima Onsen, which retains the atmosphere of traditional hot springs.
