Kajito Shoten

Located near "Chichibugahama Beach," a scenic spot in Kagawa Prefecture, this old-fashioned shop is loved by locals. It was founded as a liquor store at the end of the Edo period. It was named "Kajito" because the founder was a blacksmith named Toukichi. About 60 years ago, the store also started selling snacks and groceries. The interior of the store, which retains a strong Showa-era atmosphere, is lined with rare snacks and local specialties. The prepared foods, which are handmade in the store's kitchen, are also popular. *Closed on the first and third Sundays of every month. Open until 7:30 p.m. except in winter.
