Ono Beach is a beautiful Ono beach that is said to be the oldest swimming beach in the world. It is popular with tourists with children, and is recommended for families as it is reasonably sized. It is also attractively located as the closest swimming beach in Tokoname from the Nagoya area. It is also known as a sunset viewing spot, and the view of the sunset sinking into the Suzuka Mountains is breathtakingly beautiful. It is also known for being the site of a poem by Ono no Chomei, who visited in the early Kamakura period and wrote, "The fresh fish dishes are delicious, and the sake is also delicious. I came to Ono for a therapeutic bathing experience and ended up staying for an extended period of time." <Notes regarding fireworks> ・You can only enjoy it from sunset to 9pm. ・Please use hand-held fireworks that do not make a loud noise. ・Do not use on windy days. ・Please refrain from playing in a way that disturbs other users or neighbors, and refrain from making loud noises or shouting. - Do not light a fire in places where there are flammable items or things that can easily catch fire; do so in sandy areas. - Prepare a bucket of water and make sure to put out the fire properly. ・Please clean up your trash (take it home with you).
