Kishiwada Castle

According to legend, it was built by Wada Takaie, a member of the family of Kusunoki Masashige (Kusunoki Masashige) during the Kenmu Restoration. The castle tower was burned down by lightning in Bunsei 10 (1827), and the castle facilities such as turrets and gates were destroyed during the Meiji Restoration, so the only structures remaining from before the early modern period are the moat and stone walls. The current castle tower is a three-story, three-story tower built in 1954.
