Chiran samurai residence street

The Chiran Samurai Residences are known as Kagoshima's Little Kyoto, and samurai residences with traces of the Edo period can be seen on both sides of the 700 meter long street. Some of them are open to the public and you can see their unique gardens, and there are restaurants, cafes, and general stores nearby, making them perfect for a stroll.
