Hida Folk Village

In the Hida region, which is also a heavy snowfall area, there are traditional gassho-zukuri houses and more than 30 typical houses of Hida. In each private house, there are many displays of daily life and tools used in farming and mountain villages, as well as demonstrations and hands-on demonstrations of straw crafts, sashiko, braided cords, and seasonal events. In addition, there is also the Hida Takayama Omoide Taikenkan, where you can enjoy more than 10 kinds of hands-on experiences such as making Sarubobo without a reservation.
