Hida Takayama Festival Forest

The charm of the Takayama Festival lies in the beautiful festival stalls. Its beauty is such that it is called the moving Yomeimon. This museum was born from the idea that, ``While it is important to protect things that were made in the past, we can only pass them down to future generations by utilizing traditional techniques in the present.'' With the cooperation of Japanese master craftsmen, including local craftsmen who carry on the traditions of Hida, we have completed a new Heisei festival float. Please enjoy the gorgeous Heisei Festival floats created by the fusion of traditional culture and new technology.
