Jodomatsu Park / Kinoko Rock

Jodomatsu is called ``Matsushima on land'' because the landscape dotted with green pine trees resembles Matsushima, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan. There is a strange chalk rock called ``Kinoko Rock,'' which is formed by weathering strata divided by faults, and has been designated as a scenic beauty and natural monument by the prefecture. You can enjoy cherry blossoms and barbecues in the square in the park.
