Since the late Edo period, we have been operating as a Japanese-style restaurant in a back room in Takayama, but in June 2007, three of the buildings of Yatsusankan, a Japanese-style restaurant and inn, were certified as nationally registered tangible cultural properties. For more than 170 years, we have been soothing the hearts of travelers in Hida Furukawa, a place that is proud of its history and tradition and faces the clear Arakigawa River that flows from the foot of Mt.
