The Japan Bus Lines Council (commonly known as the JBL Council) is a private organization with the participation of over 70 bus companies from all over Japan. The JBL website it operates (available in English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese) allows you to make one-stop reservations, payments, and use highway buses and airport buses on over 130 routes across Japan. During a limited period, the council also offers services such as the "JBL PASS" which allows unlimited use of designated highway bus routes, making it possible to save money on travel and sightseeing by highway bus across Japan, and disseminates a variety of information useful for tourism. We at the JBL Council are committed to helping all foreign tourists visiting Japan enjoy traveling by bus in an easy, convenient, and comfortable way.
