Asaka Kunitsuko Shrine

It's 400 meters from Koriyama Station, so you can visit it as if you were taking a walk. It is full of old trees and looks like an oasis in the middle of the city. The worship hall, which has been a guardian deity since ancient Asaka Province was founded, was rebuilt in 1810 (Bunka 7) and is the only Edo-period building in the city. Sakanoue Tamuramaro enshrines Hachiman no Okami, which has divine virtues for work luck and child rearing.
