The main store was founded in Shouwa Ward , Nagoya City in 1995. During busy periods, there can be queues of up to three hours. Its appeal lies in the use of specially selected, extra-large "blue eels" that are grilled using a unique cooking method. Just 25 years after its founding, it has been featured in Michelin guides and selected as one of Tabelog's top 100 restaurants. Shirakabe Bettei is a sister store directly managed by the main store and opened in 2021. The store is renovated from an old Japanese house and features a calming Japanese space where you can enjoy the same flavors as the main store while looking out at the garden.
