Former Yanase Forest Railway Facility - Kamagatani Bridge

Nationally designated important cultural property Year of construction: Taisho 15 A single I-beam steel bridge with upper deck spanning the Kamagatani River. The bridge is 12.3m long. When it first opened it was a wooden truss bridge, but with the introduction of locomotives it was replaced by the current plate girder bridge. Stone retaining walls remain on the north and south sides of the bridge.
