Now, after genetic research, it appears that the "Safuri Plum," which was born through hybridization or mutation, was grafted onto a peach rootstock to propagate it. This research revealed that Safuri Plum is a genetically fixed variety, and in October 2019, it was designated as a cultural asset as a natural monument of Chita City.
