Mikkyoji Temple

It is one of the five temples in Safuri. It has long been known in the surrounding area as the "prayer place of Safuri," and has received prayers from many villagers. The principal image is the Eleven-Headed Kanze Bodhisattva (a city-designated cultural property), said to have been made during the Fujiwara period. You can receive multiple blessings from this single temple, including the Eleven-Headed Kannon, Kobo Daishi, and Acala in the main hall, and the Yakushido, Tenjin Shrine, and Hakusansha shrines on the grounds.
