Ushiku Daibutsu

The official name is Ushiku Amida Daibutsu. The height is 120m (statue height 100m, pedestal 20m), named after the twelve lights of Amida Nyorai. It is so huge that you can fit the Great Buddha of Nara (statue height 14.98m) in the palm of your hand. It is the third tallest standing statue in the world, the world's largest bronze statue, and is registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. You'll be surprised at how powerful it is. Ushiku Daibutsu is three times larger than the Statue of Liberty in the United States, and its size is comparable to a 30-story building. It's more powerful than you can imagine. Furthermore, you can take a tour inside the Ushiku Daibutsu, and the view from the floor at the chest (85 meters above ground) of this giant Ushiku Daibutsu is spectacular! If the weather is good, you can see Mt. Fuji.
