History and Folklore Museum

Under the theme of "Learning from history and culture nurtured by the sea and greenery," the museum collects, stores, exhibits, and conducts research on materials related to local folklore, history, archaeology, art, and more. A 15m-long utase-bune that was actually used is on display, allowing visitors to learn about fishing in the past. There are also exhibits of Chita cotton tools and an experience corner.
