Jinya-mae morning market

A morning market is held every morning at two locations in the Takayama city area. The Jinya-mae Morning Market was held as a mulberry market on the grounds of Takayama Betsuin Temple around 1820, but it is said that it later moved to Yayoibashi, Nakabashi, and then to the current location in front of Takayama Jinya. You can buy Hida-grown ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, rice cakes, and flowers grown by farmers at low prices. Also, interacting with local farmers who speak the Hida dialect will become a wonderful memory of your trip.
