1) Nijigen no Mori: Enter the World of Anime at Awaji Island's Anime Theme Park

Welcome to Nijigen no Mori Anime Theme Park, where the world of anime and pop culture comes to life! This unique Awaji Island attraction has been a tourist hotspot since its opening in 2017. Nijigen no Mori features permanent attractions where you can enjoy dedicated to popular franchises such as Naruto, Godzilla, Dragon Quest, and Crayon Shin-chan. The prefectural park itself is free and only the attractions charge fees separately.

Access to Nijigen no Mori

Getting to Awaji Island may seem complex, but it's quite simple. Located approximately an hour from Kobe and an hour and a half from Osaka, it's easily accessible from major cities. Most routes will first take you to Sannomiya, where you can to Awaji Island.

Once you've reached Sannomiya in Kobe, the next step is to travel to Awaji Island. We recommend taking the Awaji Resort Bus – Kita-Awaji Nishi-Kaigan Line. This direct bus service covers Awaji Island's popular destinations along its scenic West Coast, including Nijigen no Mori.

Another option to reach Nijigen no Mori is via Awaji IC (Awaji Interchange). From Awaji IC, you can take advantage of the free shuttle bus service to Nijigen no Mori.

2) HELLO KITTY Theme Parks on Awaji Island

Many people are unaware that Awaji Island is home to Hello Kitty-themed attractions, including a theme park, restaurant, and various facilities. Whether you're a Hello Kitty fan or seeking something unique, Awaji Island is the perfect destination for you.
