The presence of a bonsai store here is deeply rooted in history. During the Edo period (1603-1868), when the Imperial Palace was Edo Castle, high-ranking samurai lived in the Marunouchi area.

The shogun’s family and powerful lords treasured bonsai, often gifting these precious trees to allies as a sign of appreciation. This local tradition ended in 1923 when the Great Kanto Earthquake forced bonsai artisans to relocate.

Because bonsai cannot stay indoors for long, the inventory at TRADMAN'S TOKYO Marunouchi rotates every week. The store functions primarily as a living showroom, allowing visitors to view these rare trees up close.

Please note that strict quarantine and export regulations apply to live plants, so it may be difficult to bring a bonsai home.

However, beyond live trees such as pines and maples, the shop offers apparel inspired by Japanese art, as well as premium care tools like specialized scissors and containers.

This ticket allows you to select three establishments from 35 participating venues to enjoy a special drink and snack set. You can use all three tickets on the same evening or split them over multiple days.
