Special experience What is "Kogei Dining"?
Kogei-Dining" is an experience program held as part of "Japan Expo 2.0," a project by the Korean government to promote culture and the arts by holding art exhibitions, art festivals, and performing arts performances in various locations.
The event combines three aspects of Korean culture: crafts, food, and entertainment, allowing visitors not only to appreciate the beauty of crafts, but also to experience the beauty of "use" by actually using them for meals. The experience will a experience the richness of Japan's culinary culture through the use of local and seasonal ingredients and carefully selected dishes.
In addition, there will be talk events by human National Treasure, traditional arts and crafts, and limited sales of craft works. This is a special program to experience the creator's thoughts and the excellence of traditional Korean crafts.

Kogei-Dining" was first held in November 2019 at "Torinso" at Meiji Jingu Shrine in Tokyo and "Kugosho" at Shimogamo Shrine in Kyoto, and has since been held annually at various locations in Japan, including MOA Museum of Art in Atami City, Shizuoka, and Ryotei Sagano in Fukuoka City.
Each event is full of special features.For example, at the MOA Museum of Art in May 2022, human National Treasure Bunzo Otsuki danced to the music played by world-renowned pianist Martha Argerich in a unique collaboration.
In Fukuoka, a dinner using sake cups made by human National Treasure, a talk show by human National Treasure, and a performance of the chikuzen biwa, a traditional Kyushu performing art, were also held.
Human National Treasure Tamasaburo Bando's special dance performance was held on November 5-7, 2023!
This will be Tamasaburo Bando's second performance at Kogei Dining, following his first in 2021.
The Noh Theater at the MOA Art Museum is not a large venue, so you can clearly hear the actors' breathing in the tranquil atmosphere. Performances by actors who have mastered their craft will surely be an unforgettable viewing experience.
