The standout feature of the Izu Kogen Grand Illumination - 10th Anniversary is its inaugural Headphone Showtime.
Formerly called Silent Night, this experience has transformed from simply enjoying the illumination in silence to a unique format where you can enjoy the lights while listening to music through headphones.

2. Bubble Dance

3. Diamond Whale
The final highlight to introduce from the Izu Kogen Grand Illumination – 10th Anniversary is the Diamond Whale.
With its massive body measuring 15 meters wide, this whale glimmers like the aurora, creating the illusion of shimmering through the ocean.
In addition, there are three-dimensional lanterns depicting Poseidon and an ancient Greek-style temple, transporting visitors into a mystical underwater world.

Access to Izu Granpal Park
The nearest station to Izu Granpal Park is Izu Kogen Station.
If you are accessing by train from the Tokyo area, transfer at JR Ito Station to the Izu Kyuko Line and get off at Izu Kogen Station. Since Izu Granpal Park is located a distance from the nearest station, it is recommended to use a taxi or bus to get there.
For those driving, please use the Tomei Expressway and take the Izu Chuo Road. If you are coming from Tokyo, it takes about one and a half hours to arrive.
Izu Granpal Park has a parking lot; however, please be aware that it can become full during busy times. Especially during the illumination period, both the parking lot and surrounding roads are expected to be congested, so it’s wise to plan accordingly and allow extra time for your journey.
