The Best Hotels for a Trip to Ghibli Park

Ghibli Park is a Studio Ghibli theme park based on the animation studio’s many popular works and opened in Aichi Prefecture in November 2022. Individual tickets for international guests are set to go on sale on January 10, 2023, and will make it easier for international visitors to have a joyful time at the park.

Ghibli Park is around two hours by car from the Chubu Centrair International Airport. The park is located around 50 minutes away from Nagoya Station, a stop on the Shinkansen (bullet train), after transferring to a local train line.

Unfortunately, there aren’t many accommodations near Nagakute, the region in Aichi where Ghibli Park is located. If you want to stay overnight at a hotel for a trip to Ghibli Park, then we recommend browsing through the many hotels with great access near Nagoya Station!
