The entire Tohoku region boasts magnificent natural scenery, historical landmarks, and many precious cultural traditions. Sendai is itself a treasure trove of the best that Tohoku has to offer. Take a short trip north of the city and you'll reach Matsushima, one of the most scenic places in Japan.

The Tohoku Inbound & Experience Fair is a chance to learn more about what this region has to offer in terms of places to visit and culture.

The Japanese Culture Experience program includes:

1. Access to the booths that introduce famous places to visit in Miyagi Prefecture.
2. Tasting various types of Japanese sake made in Miyagi and other areas of Tohoku.
3. Wearing a kimono and having your photo taken in Sendai (*hairstyling and make-up included)
4. Making and enjoying Japanese sweets and matcha green tea.
