According to an announcement by the Japan Meteorological Agency, Osaka blossoms will bloom earlier than average in northern and eastern Japan in 2026, while they are expected to bloom at the same pace as average in western Japan. In Osaka, cherry blossoms will begin blooming around March 24th and reach full bloom around March 31st .
