Get into the festive spirit with the Tokyo Skytree Town Dream Christmas 2025!

Starting November 6, the tower will shine with special seasonal lighting, projection mapping, and stunning illuminations. The festivities kick off with a charming Christmas Market on the same day, this year inspired by beloved picture books.

Witness the World's Tallest Christmas Tree!

1. Tokyo Skytree's Special Christmas Lighting

Tokyo Skytree is updating its special Christmas lighting design for the season for the first time this year!

Treating the tower itself as a Christmas tree, it will cycle through three lighting styles — Ornament Tree, Elegant Tree, and Santa Claus (dressed in bright red with a white pom‑pom hat) — with a seasonal special lighting show that switches approximately once per minute to light up Christmas night.

Period: November 6 – December 25, 2025 *Excluding November 12 (Wed) and November 15 (Sat)
Time: 17:30 – 22:00
*On December 24 (Wed) and December 25 (Thu), the lights will be extended until 24:00.
*If necessary, lighting times and content may be changed without prior notice.
*Except for December 24 and 25, from 22:00–24:00, the lights will display one of the three styles Iki, Miyabi, or Nobori.

2. Projection Mapping

Projection mapping will be performed on the exterior wall of the Tokyo Solamachi building.

Under the theme "The Magical Clock of Light That Connects Thoughts," a dreamy show that changes approximately every 15 minutes will be presented. Enjoy the gorgeous visuals accompanied by lively music.

3. Illuminations

The entire Tokyo Skytree Town will be decorated with approximately 530,000 sparkling light bulbs.

The main venue, Sky Arena, will feature a popular photo-friendly Christmas tree, and Solamachi Plaza will have a 4-meter-tall installation themed on Solakara-cha, the tower's mascot, called "twinkle three stars"!

Enjoy a variety of colorful light and shadow scenes throughout Tokyo Skytree Town.

4. Picture-Book Christmas Market in Tokyo Skytree Town® 2025

The 10th edition of the Tokyo Skytree Christmas Market is themed "Picture-Book Christmas Market," creating a fairy-tale atmosphere as if flipping through the pages of a picture book to enhance the festive mood.

On the first day, Japan’s largest "giant Stollen," approximately 4 meters long, will be displayed and sliced for visitors to taste.

Last year's popular "bread stew (pan stew)" returns this year as well! Please enjoy these limited Christmas dishes that will warm your heart in the cold winter.

Spend a wonderful Christmas moment together in a special space where everyone can join in the fun.

5. JRA Nakayama Racecourse Illumination

The illumination from JRA Nakayama Racecourse will add color to Tokyo Skytree Town.

Solamachi Plaza will have a photo spot inspired by picture books, and the Sky Arena will display a Pegasus carriage decorated with approximately 6,500 light bulbs.

Tokyo Skytree Indoor Decorations and Photo Spots

Welcome to the "Christmas Party Above the Sky"!

Limited-time Christmas decorations and photo spots will be set up inside the Tokyo Skytree Tembo Deck and Tembo Galleria, and Solakara and friends will be greeting visitors as they arrive.

Solakara-chan Christmas Meet & Greet

Tokyo Skytree’s official mascot, Solakara, will don a warm, soft knitted outfit featuring sparkling star patterns as the focal detail to meet everyone.

SKYTREE ROUND THEATER® Christmas Special Screening

A brand-new Christmas short film will be shown on the large panoramic screen approximately 350 meters above ground. It consists of two short pieces that depict the same story from different perspectives.

Tokyo Skytree Christmas Love Song Live

Popular singers will be invited to perform mini live shows. Enjoy a warm performance of mainly love songs while gazing at the twinkling night view.

Tokyo Skytree Tembo Deck Floor 350 — Limited-Time Photo Service for the Christmas Period

The Tembo Deck photo service offers limited-time composite images during the Christmas period, combining the spectacular view with a scene of Santa Claus riding a sleigh across the night sky so you can keep a special commemorative photo.

Novelty Giveaways

If you see staff inside the Skytree wearing Christmas-themed accessories, say "Dream Christmas!" to receive an original sticker.

You can layer the decorative stickers onto a tree-shaped sticker to complete your own decorated Christmas tree.
