Get into the festive spirit with the Tokyo Skytree Town Dream Christmas 2026!

Tokyo Skytree Town will sparkle with approximately 400,000 lights during Dream Christmas 2026, running from November 5 to December 25.

Inspired by Wish Upon a Star, the event combines golden illuminations with a storybook Christmas market, seasonal treats, and festive activities high above the city.

Tokyo Skytree itself will join the celebration with three Christmas lighting designs, transforming the tower into a towering symbol of the season.

Golden Illuminations and an Eight-Meter Christmas Tree

This year’s illuminations feature a golden color scheme named STAR LIGHT GOLD, filling the complex with sparkling stars and warm festive light.

The centerpiece is WISH UPON A STAR TREE, an eight-meter Christmas tree at the fourth-floor Sky Arena decorated with star motifs.

At Sorami Slope Plaza, visitors can discover TWINKLE THREE STARS. The fourth floor also features STAR LIGHT CORRIDOR, adding more golden sparkle to the festive scenery.

STARRY DOME at Tokyo Skytree Town

Visitors can also step into STARRY DOME, where lights create the sensation of being surrounded by shooting stars, or write a wish on an ornament and post it in a mailbox as part of an interactive ornament tree.

Sorami Slope Plaza will feature TWINKLE THREE STARS, another sparkling photo spot to discover while exploring Tokyo Skytree Town’s golden illuminations.

The illuminations run daily from 16:00 to 23:00. Selected displays are scheduled to remain lit until February 28, 2027.

A Storybook Christmas Market with Festive Food

Returning for its 11th edition, A Christmas Market in a Picture Book at Tokyo Skytree Town 2026 will bring European-style wooden huts and colorful decorations to the Sky Arena.

The market offers a fairytale setting for enjoying seasonal food, including special dishes inspired by Santa Claus and snowmen.

One highlight is a giant stollen measuring approximately four meters long, described as one of Japan’s largest.

The market opens daily from 11:00 to 22:00, with last orders at 21:00, making it easy to pair a meal with an evening stroll through the illuminations.

Christmas Treats and Photo Spots Above Tokyo

The Tembo Deck will feature Christmas decorations and photo spots that frame the panoramic city views with ribbons, stars, and ornaments.

Floor 350 features a giant ribbon decorating the view and a sparkling snow globe display.

While Floor 340 offers an ornament seat beside a round observation window.

The seasonal café menu includes a White Strawberry Latte (980 yen) inspired by a snowy Christmas tree, Aurora Sparkling Wine (1,200 yen) with cherry flavors and shimmering powder, and a Matcha Ice Cream Christmas Tree (990 yen) made with baumkuchen.

Sorakara-chan, Tokyo Skytree’s mascot, will also greet visitors in seven Christmas costumes from previous years.

Candlelight Concerts and Special Christmas Lighting

For the first time, Tokyo Skytree will host Fever’s Candlelight Classical Concerts on the Tembo Deck’s Floor 350.

Performances take place on December 24 and 25, from 18:00 to 18:30 and 20:00 to 20:30, pairing live classical music with flickering candlelight. The concerts are free with a Tembo Deck admission ticket, and no audience seating will be provided.

Visitors can also enjoy Christmas love song performances by Takase Toya on December 16 and Gyubin on December 17, starting at 19:30.

Outside, the tower will alternate between three festive lighting designs: Ornament Tree, Elegant Tree, and Santa Claus.

The designs change approximately every 15 minutes on scheduled evenings, generally from 17:30 to 22:00, with extended lighting until midnight on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
