A 3-day trip to Kagawa 's museums to experience contemporary art
This tour will take you around four museums in Kagawa over a 3-day, 2- Tomari trip. At the Kagawa Prefectural Museum, you will see the "Tsuyoshi Ozawa's Seven Wonders of Sanuki" exhibition. Ozawa, who is interested in the boundary between pure art and non-pure art, exhibits works inspired by the collections of museums that are historical museums. At the Takamatsu City Art Museum, the exhibition "Between Ishida Hisashi's Paintings and Windows" will be held. This is Ishida's first large-scale exhibition since 2015, and will include videos using stop-motion live-action techniques. At the Marugame City Genichiro-Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art, the "Otake Ohtake Exhibition" will be held for the first time since 2013. The Naoshima New Museum of Art is a new art museum that opened in May 2025 and is the 10th Ando-designed building on the island.
