Do you love Japanese culture and would like to share your knowledge of it with the world? Join MATCHA's Translators Team and help us deliver our readers the latest information related to traveling in Japan.

As a MATCHA translator, your task will be to translate into English articles from MATCHA's Japanese language website (https://matcha-jp.com/jp)

Here is what we require from our translators:

- Japanese language skills corresponding to at least level N2 of the JLPT.
- Native level English language skills.
- Relevant experience in the translation field.
- Good knowledge about and respect for the Japanese culture.
- In the case of non-Japanese citizens, a visa that allows work in Japan is required.

We also expect our translators to be able to respect deadlines.

Compensation:

- The translation of one article (between 1200 and 1500 Japanese characters) is compensated with 1000 yen. In accordance with the translator's performance, the compensation will increase to 1500 yen after three months, and to 2000 yen after six months of collaboration.

Step 2. We will contact selected candidates with the request to complete a translation assignment within 10 days from their application.
Step 3. We will announce you the result.
